Parent Teacher Organization
Dear Families and Friends of JRES,
Welcome back to another exciting year! We would like to thank you for all your past support. Additionally, we would like to invite you to participate in all of our future activities. Your involvement can be both rewarding and also help support and enrich the experiences of all the students at JRES.
Over the summer, PTO has been busy planning activities and projects for the Fall and Spring. We also have been updating the school foyer and playground. Students of JRES will be able to enjoy a new walk bridge on the playground structure and all new swings.
PTO spends great time and effort communicating with families regarding activities and projects that we host. Here are some of the ways you can insure that you are getting information about PTO:

JRES PTO focus on two main types of Fundraisers: Student driven and PTO parent drive.
JRES PTO has two student driven fundraisers per year. Generally, one is held in the Fall semester and one in the Spring semester. Fundraiser suggestions and proposals are reviewed in September and January.
JRES PTO has a variety of on-going fundraisers throughout the year which also help various PTO projects.
Some of these Fundraisers include: Box Tops for Education, Campbell’s Soup Labels, Toner/Cell Phone/Small Electronic Recycling, Shoparoo, and Hard Tack Candy.
Volunteering and participating with PTO is easy! We welcome you at any time to join in activities. JRES PTO is child focused. We do not have membership fees or meeting requirements. You can control your level of participation. Regardless of whether you have participated in the County Volunteer training, there are many activities that you can still play a key role. Please contact us and we can help you get involved.
How can you participate in JRES PTO?
PTO would like you to know about some of our projects. Below you will find some amazing projects that PTO has accomplished across the last school year:
In the current school year, PTO will be looking to increase parent involvement in order to offer more support to our children. We look forward to having you join in these activities. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
